My Health Package

Posted on 06. Jan, 2009 by Trish in Uncategorized

Recently I received a package from Ready U, a place you can buy care packages to send to people, such as college students. This was a thank you from MomDot, for helping them out with various things.

There was a lot of confusion at first, because it wasn’t addressed to me, but it had our correct address. It also said it was sent from the same person who it was addressed to, once again, with our address. I’ve gotten packages for review, or contests that have accidentally been addressed to the wrong person, but once I open them, I know it was for me. Not this one. I didn’t know it was coming, so I was really confused. My husband actually called the company, and they said all the info they had was our address and the name it was addressed to.

Then on the Momdot forum, Trisha was asking if we had received our packages. I said no, unless this was from them, and turns out, it was. The person it was addressed to was actually the rep who ordered it. Ha-ha! So we received a health package. Here is what was included:

Chicken soup, Puffs tissues, NyQuil, DayQuil, Pepto Bismol, Hand Sanitizer from Vicks, Crest Pro Health toothpaste, a toothbrush, and…Pringles?!?!

I understand everything, even the toothpaste and toothbrush, but how in the world is Pringles considered a health item? My hubby and I were laughing over than. Don’t get me wrong, we love Pringles, and they will get eaten, but I don’t see how it fits in with the rest of the package.

Anyways, thank you MomDot, I know most of this stuff will get used during this cold and flu season. I’m so glad to have a nice stock of things we can use!

Hmmm, effective yet seems meager; do you know how much that costs? While some of that stuff will do the trick, check-out the ‘Healthy Box’ I received, offered by this fun company that my mom stumbled upon: Box-O-Box

Quite honestly it is the PERFECT flu package! The plain pringles to settle the stomach until the Pepto kicks in; the toothbrush and toothpast just in case the Pringles don’t work. The tissues, nyquil, day quill and Vicks for when you shift from the nausea phase to the cold phase. I love it!! But what scares me is that I was ablt to sort it all out like that.

BUT the best part is if you order this for your college student, they donate to charity! dont leave that out!
