E Cards, A Sale, and Cancer

1. First off, if you are like me, you are terrible at sending cards, but are always online. Why not combine the two, and
send an e-card? There is a new site called Got-Free-Ecards that allows you to send out free ecards to anyone online. This is perfect for your blogging friends, where you might not have their actual address, but you do have their email address.
I just sent a free birthday ecard to my friend Trisha over at MomDot. It’s her birthday later on this week, and Alicia challenged everyone to see how many free birthday ecards Trisha could get. It was super easy to do. I just looked through their selection, chose the card I wanted, entered the some information and a message, and hit send! I could have chosen to send it on a specific date, or right now. I should go in and schedule one for all my friend’s birthdays through the whole year so I don’t forget!
They also have free printable cards if you want to actually print it off and have a physical card. It’s nice for those people who prefer a real card or don’t use the internet that much.
2. To celebrate the launch of some new spring lines, Shooshoos is having a big sale. You can save up to $6 a pair on their Smiley collection, and up to $9 a pair on their clearanced lines. We have a pair of their Smiley shoes and they are awesome! They were by far some of my daughter’s favorite shoes. We are just too sad that she has outgrown them. So be sure to stop by and check out the Shooshoos Spring Sale.
3. Last, but most definitely not least, is a plea to help out a fellow blogger. Beth, from Manic Mother, has recently found out that her youngest son has cancer. They are asking for some help finacially to help them conquer his cancer. You can read her post about it on her blog, Manic Mother.

To help raise money for this family you can pre-order a Blog Love wristband from Swag Studios. They are only $5 and all proceeds will go to the family. Or you can donate directly to the family through Manic Mother’s blog. Just imagine what kind of a difference we can do if all of us donates a few dollars. I have seen the blogging community come together in the past to help out one of their own, so lets all do it again!
