Finish and JetDry Turbo

Washing dishes is something I hate to do. Maybe it’s because we didn’t have a dishwasher when I was young and my sister and I had to wash them all by hand. It scarred me. LOL!
Well, early on in our marriage, my husband and I realized that he hates to put the dishes away, and I hate to do them. So we compromised. He does them, and I put them away. Works for us!
I noticed, however, that the dishes were not always clean, and in fact, most of them had a white film all over them that would not even come out if I washed the dishes by hand. This is because of our super, super hard water out here where I live. It is bad! I was always afraid to use my dishes when people came over because they looked dirty, when in reality I had just pulled them out of the dishwasher. I tried soaking them in vinegar to remove the stains, but they would come right back the next time I washed them.
I never thought that our dishwashing detergent could make a difference. Then I tried the Finish Quantum Detergent I was given, and holy moly! Wow, it made such a HUGE difference. There was no more white stains! Even on things that had been stained before, it was gone. My dishes were clean again!
Finish is the new name for Electrasol. I bet you remember those commercials with the Jetsons and the Electrasol tablets? Yeah, same thing. The Quantum version come in a tablet with three components: 1) The Powerball in the middle that has Jet-Dry Gel to provide an amazing shine. 2) Powermax Bleach that removes stains like tea and coffee. 3) Powerful enzymes that soften burnt-on food like lasagna. They are all kept separate from each other and only released at the proper time in the cycle. Another good thing? They are pre-measured and wrapper free. That means less waste!

(Before- cloudy and full of white gunk)
So now that my dishes were clean, I noticed that they would still be a little wet after the dishwasher was done running.
That usually isn’t a big deal. but any water left on my dishes causes water spots when they dry because of the super hard water. So I decided to add in the Jet-Dry Turbo Dry that I was given also. I just poured it in the spot my dishwasher has designated for it, and that was it. The next wash my dishes came out pretty much dried and free of water spots. Yay!! It did not dry them completely, but there was a drastic difference, and there were no spots.
I even washed some empty containers I wasn’t too concerned about with my old detergent and the Turbo Dry, and there were no white stains or water spots. They came out looking so nice and did not have a cloudy film on them at all!
I really never realized that the type of detergent you use can make a difference. Now I am sold! I don’t think I’m going to be using anything else, at least while we live here and have to deal with the hard water. I have already recommended them to several people that live around here, and I will continue to recommend both products to people.
The Finish Quantum retails for $4.99 for a package of 12, and the Jet Dry is about $5.50.
Finish has generously offered to give two (2) of my readers one of each of these products.

I love that they are pre-measured. I feel like I am not overusing and wasting money that way.
