A little while ago I wrote a post about how I was disappointed in Singer because my motor went bad on my Singer Confidence 7470 Sewing machine after only having it for one year. Well, after that post, I was contacted by Kate who works for Singer and she offered to have Singer fix the machine [...]

Tragic Loss

I haven’t been online much lately as I am trying to do a mad dash to get ready for Christmas.  So this morning when I signed into a mom blogging community I was shocked to learned that a fellow member, Shellie from Blog 4 Mom, had lost her 2 year old son when he fell [...]

Free Printable Cards

Remember a little while ago when I told you about Free Ecards?  Well, I just went back and looked at their site again, and noticed that they are always adding new things.

I should have gone on before Father’s Day.  They had the perfect printable card for my husband that my daughter could have colored.  Here is what it looked like:

superdad

Being the huge comic book fan that he is, he would have gotten a kick out of this.  Even better is the fact that my daughter could have colored it and given her special touch.  Instead I just made him a card by folding a piece of cardstock in half and writing I *heart* Dad and had my daughter color it.  This would have been so much better.

They have more than just free printable cards, however.  You can also send free ecards for many different occasions, including free birthday ecards, love cards, and get well soon cards.

One other nice thing is that you can schedule when the ecards are going to be delivered.  So if you have a spare hour today, you can go through and set up cards to be sent out to all your family on their birthday.  That way if you are like me and tend to forget on the actual day, they still get something.  Very useful!

4th-of-julyI was just browsing their 4th of July cards and was very impressed.  Besides having some fun carefree cards, they even have one to thank those in the military for serving so we can be safe.  There are a lot that make me feel very patriotic and proud to be an American.  If you know a soldier or anyone who risk their life for our freedom, you might want to check out their selection.

I am participating in “Jump Start Your Blog Contest” sponsored by got-free-ecards and momdot.
