Windex All-In-One Giveaway

Windex All-In-One Giveaway

Posted on 01. Jul, 2009 by Trish in giveaways

Have you seen the new Windex commercial about the new Outdoor All-In-One Glass Cleaner?  I had to laugh.  I love their talking birds and the commentary they give.

all-in-one-logoIf you haven’t seen it it’s a husband and wife deciding who gets to do which chores.  She asks if he wants to clean the windows, or the pool.  The birds are saying “go for the windows,” and in his mind he’s thinking “anything but the windows!”  So he chooses the pool.  Well she pulls out the hose, sprays the windows and a cleaning pad, then wipes down the windows with a handy dandy pad, and then rinses off the windows.  Next thing you see is her floating in the pool, while he is not even close to being done cleaning it, with a really confused look on his face as he says, “You’re done?”

I wish this was around when I was growing up.  That was one of the chores we had to do was clean the sliding glass door, and it was ALWAYS dirty.  You could always see streaks too because the light hit it just right.  I’d be out there with the newspaper trying to get rid of the streaks, but I never got them all.

Now that I have my own house, I honestly have never cleaned the outside windows in the 2 1/2 years we’ve lived here.  I’m sure they need it!  I can’t wait to try this out and see how it works.  I will be getting one in the mail soon to try out, and then I’ll let you all know what I think!

Here’s some information about the product:
Say goodbye to hand-drying with Windex’s® Special Sheeting Action Formula that prevents streaks and spotting

Guess I belong in the majority of those who avoid cleaning their windows’ exteriors. I learned that
80% of us avoid the chore. This Windex product should help, however.

Thank you for the contest. Happy Fourth of July!
