Fake Eyelashes Anyone?

I’m sitting here watching America’s Got Talent, and actually watching some of the commercials. I know, I know, who watches commercials?
How about those of us who don’t have a TiVo? Yeah, we don’t even have cable or satellite. In fact, we just recently purchased our first TV that wasn’t ancient and so deep it barely fit on our entertainment center. So yeah, we’re a little behind the times.
Anyways…back to my point (and yes, I do have one!)
I’m sitting here and a mascara commercial comes on. It’s talking about how this mascara can give you longer and thicker lashes, and I notice that every single person in that commercial was wearing fake eyelashes. And not just a few on the ends. No, the whole strip of lashes that are so long it is obvious they are fake. OK, not as bad as this picture, but still obviously fake.
Do they really think that we will believe that they are real?
Now I’m going to be watching every mascara ad to see if they are all this bad.

I tried fake lashes once — the glue was awful !! I have even tried all the mascara’s on TV, because I really didn’t realize they were all wearing fake lashes either… so don’t feel so bad Camile!

LOL I’m behind the times too so you aren’t alone there. No cable or sat here either. We watch a ton of DVD’s!
I could use some lash help, but not like that!

Wow, and you thought you were behind in the times…. If you hadn’t pointed this out I really would have gone on not know that they were fake eye lashes. SERIOUSLY! haha I feel dumb. I have seriously always wonder HOW their lashes looked so incredible. I always chalked it up the amazing computer guys! Thank you for letting me in on that secrete. I’m going to go buy some fake lashes and see what they’re all about.
