We did finally get the hose off. We ended up calling our neighbor who is a plumber, and he came over. It's probably a good thing he did too, because he basically had to take apart the whole valve and put in a new part. That hose was so corroded on there, there was no way we were going to get it off! I have been washing all our of big blankets that have been waiting to be washed forever. I'm excited to explore them more and figure out everything they do! Thanks everyone!
