Are You a Morning Person, or a Night Person?

I am definitely a night person. I have such a hard time getting up in the mornings.
In high school I had an early morning church class that was before school called seminary. The regular early morning class started at 6am, but I was taking an early morning class in school too, so school started at 6:30 am for me. That made the regular early morning seminary not possible for me. Instead I went to the early, early morning class that started at 5am. I had to get up at 4:15 every morning. It wasn’t easy, but I did it.
I figured I’ve paid my dues, and I don’t ever want to have to get up that early again.
I’ve done it a few times here and there, but I try to avoid mornings as much as possible. I would love to be able to sleep in till 9am every morning. Unfortunately once you have kids your schedule kind of gets thrown out the door and you have to do things on their schedule. Lucky for me our daughter usually sleeps in till 8, so at least I can sleep in a little.
My husband is not a morning person either. In fact, his mom said she used to go in to wake him up when he was little and he would say he didn’t want to get up because his bed loved him too much. That’s how I feel, especially in the winter when it’s cold in the room, but I’m snuggled up in my nice warm bed. My bed just loves me too much to let me go.
So what are you, a morning person, or a night person?

Mornings are NOT for me, not one bit. Back in my high school days I would get up at 6am and run 2 miles in the morning before classes but I swear I was sleep running. These days if I’m up before 10 I’m a grouchy mama. I’m just glad I’ve sleep trained the little ones into waking up no earlier than 9.

Love the new design! i feel like I was just here and it was still black and pink!
I am a night owl. to the max. I can be so sleepy come 4pm, but come 10 i am wide awake, I could be sick, running on no sleep for 3 days, anything. 10pm comes and I am wide awake.
I used to work at a bakery, Did for 6 years and sometimes had to be there at 3:15. I loved it! i stayed up all night. even turned 21 while doing that shift.
I got up way to early for school. 5:15 every morning. we left at 6am, our only ride. BOOO!

Thanks, but my site was never black and pink, LOL!
It was black, white, blue and purple for a while. That must be what you were thinking of.

I’m definitely a night owl. Most days I’m doing good if I’m up, showered and dressed by noon. I’m sure some of it has to do with working all night sometimes, but it’s easier for me to stay up then get up.

I am absolutely positively 100% a night person.

I am a total night person…but because I have to wake up so early I tend to go to bed earlier than I used to. But I’m not like some people…I function in the morning LOL

I know what you mean. If I have to get up early, I go to bed earlier. In high school I went to bed at 8pm, just so I’d get enough sleep. I can usually function too, I just hate getting up that early.
