A little while ago I wrote a post about how I was disappointed in Singer because my motor went bad on my Singer Confidence 7470 Sewing machine after only having it for one year. Well, after that post, I was contacted by Kate who works for Singer and she offered to have Singer fix the machine [...]

Tragic Loss

I haven’t been online much lately as I am trying to do a mad dash to get ready for Christmas.  So this morning when I signed into a mom blogging community I was shocked to learned that a fellow member, Shellie from Blog 4 Mom, had lost her 2 year old son when he fell [...]

Game Night

Last night my husband and I decided to play some games.  We had been given Spiderman Monopoly for Christmas spiderman3monopolylast year and have never even opened it.

In fact, I can’t remember the last time I really played Monopoly.  Growing up we used to play it on my Grandma’s computer, but we’d cheat and make sure we played all the players and favored ourselves.  So we’d sell property for $0 and basically force the fake players to loose.

We had to read the rules to remember how to play.  That’s how long it’s been.  We also had to read the rules to figure out the special rules for the Spiderman edition.

We had a lot of fun, but the best part was when I kicked my husband’s trash.  I owned both blue properties and had a skyscraper on them and my husband had the misfortune of landing on the most expensive one.  He had already mortgaged basically all his properties to pay me the first time he landed on it when I didn’t have a skyscraper on it yet.  Then he had to try to come up with the $1400 he owed me.  Yeah, he had to give me all his property and all his cash and declare bankruptcy.  Tee-hee.

We just won’t talk about the game of Spiderman Sorry he won before we played Monopoly.
