A little while ago I wrote a post about how I was disappointed in Singer because my motor went bad on my Singer Confidence 7470 Sewing machine after only having it for one year. Well, after that post, I was contacted by Kate who works for Singer and she offered to have Singer fix the machine [...]

I’m Still Alive

I know I kind of up and disappeared for a while, but don’t worry, nothing serious has happened, I’m not going through hard times, things are all ok here. Well, I guess something serious has happened, and I have been going through hard times, but nothing that won’t be solved by July 25th.   Let [...]

Tragic Loss

I haven’t been online much lately as I am trying to do a mad dash to get ready for Christmas.  So this morning when I signed into a mom blogging community I was shocked to learned that a fellow member, Shellie from Blog 4 Mom, had lost her 2 year old son when he fell [...]

Greg from Telling Dad

Ah Greg.  Greg is a guy I recently got to know online, and I’m glad I did.  He is the guy behind Telling Dad, and his sense of humor makes me laugh all the time.

Greg is the only 6′7″ guy I know who will put on a pink feather boa and do the Flirty Girl workout videos on camera to raise money for the Sweet Dreams Fund he created to help out domestic violence shelters.  The Sweet Dreams fund was created by Greg after his wife’s cousin had her two children and her mother slain by her ex-husband.  The anger and helplessness he felt was instead channeled into doing something good.  Thus the Sweet Dreams Fund was created to provide donations for domestic violence shelters.

Greg is also the official Boogie Man, as he has teamed up with Boogie Wipes and has created the “Save the Sleeve” campaign.  He is getting a disco suit and everything.

Plus, Greg said I look like a prettier version of Gena Davis.  Of course if you tell me I look like a celebrity I’m going to like you.  What more do you need to know to know that Greg is an awesome guy?  I mean, come on.

I highly recommend visiting Greg’s blog and reading all his humorous posts, and his few serious ones as well.  :D
