It Was Just a Phase

Remember how I talked about how my daughter was afraid of my grandparents?
Well, I am happy to say we were at their house again last night and she did just fine. No tears whatsoever. She was even talking about them and pointing them out and calling them Grandpa and Grandma.
I’m very pleased that we don’t have to worry about tears or fits when we visit them!

Good to hear that is over… that could have been really tough. You did the right thing in just giving her time, you are a great mom!

That is great to hear. It hard to have to deal with situations like that. On one hand you don’t want to upset your child but on the other you know if she gave it a chance she would love those people just as much as you do. I am glad (for your sake) that she got over it.
