A little while ago I wrote a post about how I was disappointed in Singer because my motor went bad on my Singer Confidence 7470 Sewing machine after only having it for one year. Well, after that post, I was contacted by Kate who works for Singer and she offered to have Singer fix the machine [...]

Tragic Loss

Saturday I was laying on the couch, reading a book, and my daughter came up to me.  I looked up at her, and as I did, I may have drooled a little.  Hey, at least it was at home, and not in the middle of some important business meeting, right?

Well, being the two year old that she is, my daughter had to make a big stink about it.  She kept repeating “Uh oh!” and “Whoopsies!” over and over.  No matter how many times we tried to convince her that it was ok, it would dry, no big deal, she didn’t seem to believe us.

Now, it’s embarrassing enough to drool as it is.  But to then have your kid through a huge stink over it is even more embarrassing.

After a couple of moments she disappeared into the kitchen and I thought she has finally forgotten about it.

Next thing I know, she is coming back from the kitchen holding a towel.  Which she then proceeded to bring over to me so I could clean up the mess on the couch.

I was cracking up laughing, and I guess I had drooled a little more than I thought if it warranted a towel to clean it up.  I just wonder what was going through her mind at that moment.
