It’s a ????

Well, today is the day for my ultrasound. We had one back at week 14, because I had been spotting for 3 days, and they told us what it appeared to be then, but that is still a little early to tell for sure. So today we find out for sure if it is what they said.
Anyone want to guess?
I did several of the old wives tales to see what they said. The majority of them said girl. I tried looking at the Chinese gender chart thingys, and half of what I looked at said girl, half said boy. The needle on a thread test went in a circle, which means girl.
Here are some other “symptoms” I am having that sometimes are used to determine sex. I couldn’t stand sweets early on, but now I love them. I really didn’t have any morning sickness, and I didn’t with my daughter either. I seem to be carrying low. Umm, let’s see. I seem to be gaining weight in my hips and behind area, and my boobs have not changed dramatically. The hair on my legs isn’t growing any faster than it did before, in fact it seems to have slowed down.
I think that’s basically it. So guess away, and I’ll let you know the results later on!

I’m going to say boy just because I have 2 of them LOL. The Chinese gender predictors online are crazy. None of them can agree on what my boys were supposed to be born as.
We have friends who have a boy, but they were told all the way up to his birth he was a girl because he had his little penis tucked between his legs the whole time. Surprise! LOL

I say it’s a boy. Because you need a boy
I think the old wives tales are funny. My pregnancies were pretty different and they both were boys…

I say a bald baby girl (because you didn’t mention any heartburn), But I could be SO wrong, because I carried totally different with both of mine and they were both boys… so who knows.
I waited for the first one until he was born to find out what sex it was, I wanted the surprise with the first. But with the second, I wanted to know because we lived in a two bedroom apartment and would have to move if it was going to be a girl. AAGGHH!!
I’m glad your energy is back, but don’t overdo it.
Can’t wait to hear the news!!

I say girl because if they *think* they knew at 14 weeks I’d argue they thought they did NOT see something else… because even small a penis is a penis

Well, the ultrasound tech was pretty sure it was one gender, but the midwife said she’s held babies in her hand that young and even physically looking at she couldn’t tell if it was a boy or girl. Basically they aren’t developed enough at that age to be certain. So we’ll see if the ultrasound tech was right.

I would say girls but am always wrong in guessing this thing, So If I guess girl it’s a boy LOL
How are you feeling, are you still spotting??? and BTW congrats
I’m 24 weeks with baby #3 and will wait to the birthday to find the gender but my first 2 were girls and all the wife tales, Chinese calender etc… were wrong for both of them LOL

Yay! Congrats to you too! I don’t know if I could have it be a surprise. Maybe as we have more kids. I don’t know. I just like to be prepared for everything I guess.
I’m finally feeling good. Got over that hump and have energy now. Besides having to pee every 20 minutes things are good! I did stop spotting. It was only for about 4 days at night. I went in, and they did an ultrasound and there was nothing wrong. Everything looked perfect, and I hadn’t done anything that could cause spotting, ie heavy lifting, over exertion, etc. So it was just a fluke thing for a few days.
