My Ebay Coupon Code Disappeared

I’ve been using ebay for years now.  In fact, my husband used to work for ebay.  Well, recently I have been looking for some maternity clothes on there, and I got a coupon code for 10% any clothing, shoe or accessory item.  And by recently I mean Tuesday right after I bought 3 pairs of maternity jeans. It said it expired on the 6th.

I decided that I would look for some dresses that I could wear, since last time I was pregnant I only had one skirt that fit, and I got tired of wearing the same thing every week to church or anywhere I needed to wear a skirt.  I shopped around, found some things I like and bid on them.  The one ended last night, and the other from the same seller ends early tomorrow.  I wanted to combine shipping, so I figured I’d pay for them both tomorrow, and use the code on one of them.

Well today I check in, and realize the code is gone.  I didn’t write the code down because I figured it would still be there.  But now it is gone, like it has been used or expired.  I guess I could have mistaken the expiration date, but I could have sworn it was the 6th.  And why would they give it to me on the 2nd and have it expire the 4th?  It doesn’t make sense to me.

Grrrrrr.

I know 10% isn’t much, but still.

UPDATE: Weirdest thing ever just happened.  I wrote this post, hit publish, then went back to my ebay and refreshed.  It had me log back in, and voila!  The code was there.  It does expire the 6th, and I made sure to write it down.  I have been searching for that code all morning, and now it shows up.
