About
Hello, and welcome to my blog Sweet ‘n’ Sassy Girls. My name is Trisha, or Trish, doesn’t matter to me.
I grew up out in the middle of the Mojave desert, and then moved to Utah to attend BYU. I majored in Recreational Managment and Youth Leadership, and minored in Ballroom Dance. Dance was an outlet for me, and I enjoyed every minute of it. I just wish I was still involved. I was hoping to go into event planning after I graduated, but was unable to find a job. I finally went back to school to become a Master Aesthetician. Skincare was not ever something I expected to go into, but I loved it.

I met my husband a year before I graduated, and we got married a few months before graduation. We now have been happily married for almost seven years.
We had our daughter 3 years ago, and she is a cutie. She has red hair like me, and her personality reflects that. She can be as stubborn as stubborn can be. My Dad said I was the same way when I was a kid and now it’s payback time. He was thrilled when he saw us the last time and realized that she was giving me a hard time. He said I deserved it. We still love her to death though, and I can’t imagine my life without her. She definitely is a sweetheart at times.
We just recently had another child, a baby boy, and we’re planning on adding several more to our family. My husband came from a family of 9 kids, and there were 5 in my family. We’re thinking 5 is a good number, but we’ll see what happens as time goes on.
I currently am blessed to be able to stay home with my kids. We used to only have one car, and live somewhat out in the middle of nowhere, so I didn’t get a lot of contact with other adults. That’s when I started blogging. My sister in law talked me into creating a blog to show of pictures of my daughter so everyone could know what was going on in our lives. I started our family blog and then started blog hopping and began finding contests. I was amazed that by simply leaving a comment I would win an awesome prize. I started entering as many as I could find, and eventually started winning a few. I wanted to know how I could be the one hosting a giveaway, so I started asking around. I finally decided to just start contacting companies on my own, and was shocked when people started saying yes.
I finally decided to open a separate blog just for reviews and giveaways and anything else I wanted to write about. That is when Sweet ‘n’ Sassy Girls was born.
I love to craft and am constantly working on something. I started writing posts about some of the things I was working on, and that led to writing tutorials for certain projects. My tutorials became the big hit on my blog and I decided to turn away from giveaways and reviews and focus more on the craft/tutorial side of the blog. Who knows what my blog will evolve into next.
Thanks for stopping by and learning more about me. I hope you decide to come back again soon!
